Goat showing

I began showing goats in 2021, and it quickly became something I truly enjoyed. Each participant was assigned a goat to care for and prepare for competition, which required consistent responsibility and attention to detail. My duties included grooming, trimming hooves, cleaning stalls, and developing a solid training routine. I regularly went before and after school to work with my goat, ensuring they were well-prepared and responsive in the show ring. Through this experience, I had the opportunity to compete in multiple county fairs as well as the North Carolina State Fair.
